Ghost childcare candy

Hi, everyone!

Thank you for visiting Business Garden's Blog.

Ghost childcare candy is sold at the traditional candy store in Kyoto.

Where does this unique name come from?

It is said that a woman died and buried in 1599, and few years later as the child cried from the soil, that was a child born from a dead woman.

At that time, there was a woman who came to buy candy every night but after the child was rescued from the grave, she stopped to buy candy.

And so, the candy began to be called "ghost childcare candy."
The child who was rescued at that time of eight became a high priest monk.

The candy looks like the color of amber and it is really simple good taste.

This is the candy store which looks pretty old but traditional.

Oh, by the way, the store sells green tea (maccha) as well as the candy!

Have a nice holidays!
